Open HRMS always aims at simplifying human resource management operations in a company to ensure seamless workflow. The users will get several dedicated modules in Open HRMS that help the HR department to smoothly manage and monitor almost all processes related to employee management in an organization. The Employee From User module is one such feature of Open HRMS which is introduced to streamline HR operations.
This chapter will help you to understand the features and functions of the Open HRMS Employee From User module.
The basic function of the Employee From User module is that it will automatically create an employee while creating a user in Open HRMS. This means when you configure this module in your database, the users that you already defined in your system will be automatically converted into employees within a single click. It is easy to configure this module in Open HRMS. The module can be located and installed from the App Store as shown in the image below.
After completing the installation process, let’s create a new user in Open HRMS. In order to create a new user, go to the General Settings of the Open HRMS where you can find the Users menu in the main menu bar.
When you click on the User menu, a new window opens with the details of already created users.
Using the Create button, you can effortlessly create a new user in your database.
Mention the Name and Email Address of the user in the corresponding fields. The Access Rights and Preferences tabs can be used to specify the access rights and preferences of the user. After mentioning the required details in the respective fields, you can click on the Save button.
Here, we created a user profile in the name of David. Now, you can go to the Employee module where you will be able to find an employee profile in the name of David.
By installing the Employee From User module, the user profile is automatically converted into an employee profile.
The details that we mentioned in the user profile will be visible in the employee profile also such as the name of the user, Email, and Company. You can complete the employee profile by adding additional information in the given fields. The Employee From User is a simple module that easily converts users to employees.
