Attendances

Implementing the OpenHRMS Attendance module will drive a culture of operational excellence into your organization. It is the best digital solution for employee attendance monitoring. Also, it will help you understand your employees' productivity to find the area for improvement. It can also be considered an HR empowered tool that will simplify HR work. The system helps you effectively track your employee check-in and check-out times. In addition, it keeps the records of attendances digitally and offers exclusive attendance analysis reports. Moreover, the system ensures more operational efficiency and accuracy with its Kiosk Mode. This chapter will make you understand all the features and functionalities of the OpenHRMS Attendance module.

To get into the Attendance module, you should install the module into your database. Once you installed the module, the menu icon for accessing the Attendance module will be displayed in the main dashboard window of the OpenHRMS system.

In the above screenshot, you can view the menu icon for accessing the Attendance module as highlighted in green colour. You can have a gentle click on the icon to work with the Attendance module. As soon as you select the button, you will dive into the module, and the main dashboard window of the module is depicted below.

The opening window is designed for check-in and check out. This window helps the employees log into the system. The system will display the employee's name and shows an arrow icon to check in. If the employee signs in by clicking on this arrow, the system will depict a welcome note for a few seconds, where the system will show the recorded check-in time.

Once the employee has finished his work for that particular day, they can easily sign out from the platform by clicking on the check out button.

The logout message will depict along with the employee’s name and log out time. If the employee worked extra hours, it would also be depicted in the system.
